Concentrate poliphenolic
Abrobiotec develops his activity inside the compounds poliphenolics. The residue of grape consists of the husks and pips, and can represent up to 20 % of the weight of the grapes destined for the production of wine. In the wine´s process and distillation this residue preserves a percentage in antioxidant substances as the polyphenols between 40-50 %. The compounds of interest with functional properties that obtained from the residue are, of general form, polyphenols, such as antocianinas, resveratrol, etc., proceeding from the extraction of the husk. HEALTH BENEFIT OF POLYPHENOL COMPOUNDS : • Prevention of cardiovascular diseases: Flavonoids inhibit the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acid groups in LDL by intercepting the free radical propagation of LDL oxidation. • Vasodilation. Benefit of the polyphenolic extract in increasing blood flow in blood vessels. • Contribution of polyphenols to the prevention of ocular damage, cancers, and osteoporosis. • Beneficial effect of red grape polyphenols in preventing elastin degradation by elastases as occurs in inflammatory processes.
